DMOZ is going to be sold out. Has anyone heard anything to confirm this rumor?

Just couple of weeks ago there was a rumor that Best of The Web is going to purchase DMOZ. BOTW and AOL are in discussion about selling most trustable directory DMOZ and I think deal will be finalized very soon.

If news is true, BOTW has already hired most of the premier DMOZ editors.

Google still use DMOZ to power its own web directory. So what do you think guys?

Would Google continue that under commercial oriented new owners? Because, Google has said they don’t like paid directories and many are penalized for selling links. This will be interesting to see what Google will do.
